Charlevoix, QC

There are two main hiking areas: Parc des Grands-Jardins (north and south sections) and the Parc des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie (a UNESCO biosphere reserve). In the St. Urbain region, the Sentier des Pointes /Sentier les Florents trail (part of the Sentier national) also offers additional hiking opportunities en route to or from Montreal. Or, one can simply spend a day exploring the bistros, restaurants, shops and many art galleries of historic, Baie St-Paul. There are also many other activities in the area, including river cruises and whale watching.
