North Conway is at the eastern end of the beautiful Kancamagus Highway. Hikers have many trails from which to choose, both in the immediate area and further north in the White Mountains.
And for cyclists, there are plenty of gentle rolling hills ideal for beginner and intermediate riders, as well as more challenging routes. Distance: 26,63,79,54 and 102 km. (For more information on ride elevations and distances, click here.)

Accomodation: Merrill Farm Inn is nestled among beautiful trees and lovely landscaping on seven acres. It is located in the White Mountains in a quiet country setting on the banks of the Saco River just 10 minutes south of North Conway on Route 16. (http://www.merrillfarminn.com)
Rooms are double occupancy, hotel style with TV, DVD, mini fridge and free WiFi in many of the rooms and in all common areas. Guests are welcome to use the facilities such as: outdoor BBQ, horseshoes, volleyball, shuffleboard, badminton and canoeing. The resort offers a complimentary afternoon snack, with home-made cookies and a variety of beverages. NEW! The Inn now has a restaurant.
Cost: $290 for members. Non-members must add a $25 membership fee.
Includes: 3 nights accommodation, 3 full breakfasts and a Saturday cocktail party.
Transportation: By carpool at a cost of $65 per passenger paid to the driver at the start. Driving time is approximately 4 hours. Passport required at the US border.
Transportation to trailheads: By carpool, $2 per passenger each way paid to the driver before departing to trailheads.
